Traffic in the city will not be suspended and the time of the so-called rush hour will be extended, when the number of vehicles will increase, the crisis staff in Belgrade decided today.

The current peak, which lasted from 15 to 17 hours and in which the maximum number of vehicles was included, will be extended in the future and will last from 15 to 20 hours.

The decision of the City Crisis Personnel will begin to apply from tomorrow, as well as the measures taken by the Republic Crisis Personnel on Saturday to fight the corona virus.

The bus will stop at the station

According to the decision of the city crisis headquarters, 236 more vehicles will be included than usual in that period. This practically means that there will be 1,641 public transport vehicles on the streets in the 15-20 hour period.

The accusations that have appeared in public that the bus, if it is more than 50 percent full, will not stop at the station, are without foundation.

By the way, during the last two days, 652 inspections were carried out in the capital and controls were carried out on restaurants, commercial premises and shopping centers.

In two cases, the bar was ordered to be emptied and measures were taken. In one case, the communal militia prohibited work on the premises for 72 hours and six misdemeanor orders were issued …

Since the beginning of the intensified controls, 12,558 inspections have been carried out.

On Saturday, the Government of Serbia, at the suggestion of the Crisis Personnel for the fight against the corona virus, adopted new measures, which will take effect tomorrow at 6 pm

In total there are seven, and among them is the shortening of the working day of restaurants, cafes, bars, discos, betting houses and shopping centers until 6 in the afternoon, with the exception of stores, which will be open until 9 of the night.
