SPS: Antic, Toncev and Ruzic are candidates for ministers – Politics

The candidates from the ranks of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) for two ministerial positions in the Serbian Government are Aleksandar Antic, Novica Toncev and Branko Ruzic, according to the Beta agency of the leadership of that party has learned.

The president of Serbia and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Aleksandar Vučić, said that in the new Serbian government, the SPS will have the Ministry of Education and a ministry without portfolio.

Aleksandar Antić and Branko Ružić headed the energy and local self-government departments in the previous government, which will belong to Zorana Mihajlović and Marija Obradović in the next government.

Novica Toncev is a member of the new Serbian Parliament and vice-president of the SPS.

The Beta agency was told at the top of the SPS that the Party Presidency will decide tonight or tomorrow which of the three candidates will occupy two ministerial positions.
