Montenegrin Interior Minister Sergej Sekulović appealed to citizens to spend Christmas Day and Christmas with their families, respecting sanitary measures.
He stated that there is a danger that public order and peace will be disturbed tomorrow, but that he hopes this will not happen and that the state authorities are doing everything in their power to prevent it.
“Objectively, a hot head can complicate the situation, disturb it and something happens after which it is difficult to have a comeback,” Sekulović told “Vijesti” TV.
He noted that at this time, the coordination of security services is at an enviable level and that there is no reason for panic or hasty reactions.
Sekulović said that anyone planning an incident or attempting in any way to disturb the peace, the highest value of all societies, including Montenegro, will be prevented.
