Tonight, the Novi Sad board of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) rejected the accusations of the vice president of the People’s Party, Borislav Novakovic, that the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, is “just a tool in the hands of Andrej Vucic”, brother of the president of the SNS, Aleksandar Vucic.
Photo: People’s Party“The amount of lies that (Novakovic) told about Aleksandar and Andrej Vucic, as well as about Milos Vucevic, surpassed all the nonsense that he said so far.
The mention of Andrej Vučić as the owner of a large amount of land in Vojvodina, without any evidence, shows a pathological hatred towards Aleksandar Vučić’s closest family.
“The fault of Andrej Vučić is only the fact that he is the brother of the President of Serbia,” the SNS said in a press release.
They named Novakovic “Bora Solunac”, alluding to the issue on which Novakovic allegedly voted in the Serbian parliament in 2001, even though he was in Thessaloniki at the time.
“The blessing of Miloš Vučević, who is the first man in the history of Serbian Athens to be elected mayor of Novi Sad for the third time in a row, is also meaningless and has no evidence.” Milos Vucevic attracted domestic and foreign investors, reduced unemployment below seven percent and the average salary in Novi Sad is higher than in other parts of Serbia, “said the SNS.
Novakovic previously said in an interview with the Nova.rs portal that Milos Vucevic was a “court freak” of Andrej Vucic.
