Slavko Jankovic Crni, Slobodan Milosevic’s former bodyguard, claimed that the former FRY president had been betrayed by his other bodyguard and a most trusted man: the famous Senta Milenkovic, who, he claimed, was rewarded with money, but also with the rank of general.

He spoke on Happy TV about what Milosevic’s arrest was like in 2001.
– The Milosevic government had an organization that could animate and dress from State Security. When the state collapsed and when the betrayal occurred, he had all the information. The 17 of us take care of him and his family.
Senta Milenković betrayed Milošević. We received information that there would be an arrest that day. Senta ran like every morning for five days before the attack, but did not return. For that, he received the rank of general and a certain amount of money – said Janković and added:
– It was known that March 31 was the date that the United States gave to finish it, because if Milosevic had not been arrested then, he should have been proposed for the presidency of the World International at the request of Russia. He is a man who believed in the Constitution and the State.
Jankovic said that the army was loyal to the president and that he was actually betrayed by the higher police. As he said, all those who provided security to Milosevic during the arrest at the “Mir” residence were also detained, while those who betrayed him were later promoted.
– All those who participated in the betrayal of Slobodan Milosevic will receive a deserved punishment – Jankovic said, emphasizing that the former president treated him like a father.
A certain Manasijevic, who was also in charge of securing the president, joined the Happy Live program and accused Jankovic of lying, and that he was not even close to Milosevic during the arrest. However, Sinisa Vucinic, another man close to Milosevic, also joined in and defended Jankovic:
– Slavko is telling the absolute truth. He was my fighter and he doesn’t lie about anything. He is an ordinary man, I brought him to Villa “Mir”. Milosevic greeted Slavko from The Hague, said Vucinic, who also said he suggested that Milosevic flee to Russia but refused. He also said that he believed that Milosevic was poisoned in The Hague and therefore killed.
