Zoran Mrvaljevic (43) from Herceg Novi, who is accused of leading a criminal group that planned to commit various serious crimes, will be extradited to Montenegro in the coming days.
Pobjeda claims that Mrvaljevic is in Serbia and that the authorities have approved his extradition.
According to the records of the security services, he is considered a member of the Skaljar clan and will be extradited from Serbia to Montenegro in the coming days.
He was arrested on July 17 in Serbia, according to the order of the NCB Interpol Podgorica.
“After serving a prison sentence for a crime he committed in Serbia, Mrvaljevic was arrested on the basis of an international Montenegrin arrest warrant. He is wanted by the international arrest warrant NCB Interpol Podgorica to ensure his presence in criminal proceedings in against them in Montenegro criminal organizations, the crime of homicide by incitement and the crime of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs for a prolonged period, ”the Police Directorate previously said.
The special prosecutor’s office has appointed Mrvaljevic as head of a criminal organization, whose members are Milan Kankaras, Slobodan Vico, Jovan Zmukic and Krsto Vujic, whose name is mentioned in the investigation of the murder of Scepan Roganovic, who was liquidated on March 14 in Herceg Novi.
During interrogation, Kankaras admitted membership in a criminal organization and drug trafficking.
According to police records, Mrvaljevic and members of the group are coming into contact with the criminal group Skaljar, reports the CDM portal.
Mrvaljevic was detained in Serbia because forged documents in the name of Branko Perisic were found near him in July last year.
He was the target of an attack twice: he was wounded five years ago when three unknown assailants shot him. Mrvaljevic was also shot in 2017.
