In Sombor, the virus was confirmed in four more patients

In the last 24 hours, 12 patients with fever and respiratory symptoms were examined at the respiratory clinic of the General Hospital “Dr Radivoj Simonović” in Sombor.

Nineteen patients were screened for coronavirus. Of that number, the presence of the virus was confirmed in 4 patients.

Of those positive for p-si-ar, 2 patients were admitted to the kovid ward and 2 patients were sent to home self-isolation.

In the hospital treatment of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the General Hospital “Dr Radivoj Simonović”, there are 5 patients with confirmed coronavirus.

In Zlatibor district, kovid-19 was confirmed in 31 people

According to the latest report from the Uzice Public Health Institute, in the last 24 hours in the district of Zlatibor kovid-19 it was confirmed in 31 people, the majority in Prijepolje 11, in Uzice and Kosjeric 5 each, in Nova Varos 4, Sjenica 2, Bajina Basta, Pozega Priboj and Cajetina one each.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 2,874 positives have been registered in 9 municipalities and the city of Uzice, the majority in Uzice 885, Pozega 349 and Prijepolje 317.

5 patients with suspected kovid were admitted to the Užice hospital, 2 of them on a ventilator, and 66 patients to the new kovid hospital.

According to the latest data, of the 9,457 samples tested, 1,384 tested positive for the coronavirus.

Six more patients died.

There are 44 patients on respirators.

Although the epidemic situation is worrying, experts say that full shutdown is not an option.

The epidemiologist Predrag Kon says that he is in favor of somewhat more restrictive measures, but that he believes that the situation would be overcome with respect to those that are already in force.

Kon notes that he also wears masks outdoors, adding that crisis personnel insist on implementing measures that would be enough to keep the situation under control to some extent.

The head of the KBC “Dragiša Mišović” hospitalization department, Dr. Predrag Savić, tells RTS that there are currently 158 kovid patients in that institution, of whom 30 are in intensive care and 12 are on a ventilator.

As pointed out, all the capacities of the Internal Clinic, Urology and Otolaryngology are fully occupied.

Zemun hospital entered the kovid system for the third time.

According to data from the Uzice Institute of Public Health, in the last seven days in the Zlatibor district area there has been a constant increase in the number of people suffering from kovid, while in Valjevo the situation is threatening: in one day the number infected in that city increased by 34.

The number of patients is increasing in the district of Macvan, Sabac, near the introduction of an emergency situation

The number of people with kovida-19 is also growing in Machvan district. Of the 49 infected in the previous 24 hours, 28 are in Sabac, which is the most since the start of the new wave.

Of the 98 swabs sent from Rasina district for testing yesterday, 21 tested positive for coronavirus, 31 were negative, and the results of 46 PCR tests are still awaited.

The epidemic situation in Bor is also getting worse: in the last two days there have been 25 new cases of viral infection in that city.
