The Minister of Finance, Siniša Mali, spoke today at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce with representatives of the Board of the Group of Carriers of Passengers in Road Traffic and the Group of the Tourism Association.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Commerce, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, and the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Infrastructure, the Association of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs of Serbia (HORES) and the National Association of Travel Agencies (YUTA).
The meeting discussed proposals for sectoral support to the branches of the economy most affected by the Kovid-19 virus pandemic, and it was agreed that smaller working groups would be formed in the coming days to take appropriate measures as soon as possible.

After the representatives of the affected sectors presented their proposals, Minister Siniša Mali indicated that the state is ready to help them, and that we have seriously approached the new economic situation and reacted with economic measures in record time.
The objective of the sector’s support, as he said, is to maintain liquidity, start economic activity as quickly as possible and preserve jobs.
