“This corridor has been talked about for decades, and we have completed negotiations, we will complete the technical documentation for the project by the end of the year, and we will begin construction next year,” Mihajlović said after visiting the apartment building site for members of the security forces in that city with the mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš. Vučević.

Mihajlović noted that works are currently underway on 250 kilometers of roads and many more are planned.

Roads connect people and that brings a better life, stressed the deputy prime minister, the ministry announced.

By the way, the value of the contract to be signed with CRBC is 606 million euros.

The Frushkogorski corridor will officially be a fast highway from Ruma to Novi Sad in a length of 47.7 kilometers, connecting the highways with Shido and Subotica.

In mid-September, the Serbian government approved a contract for the construction of the Fruška Gora corridor, within which a 3.5 km tunnel will be built through Fruška gora, which will be the longest tunnel in Serbia. In addition, another 1.8 kilometer bridge will be built over the Danube.

The Fruska Roga corridor will have four lanes of 3.5 meters wide, but it will not have stop lanes, so it will not be run as a classic highway but as a fast track.

The Preljina – Požega highway in corridor 11, the Moravia corridor, that is, the Preljina to Pojat highway, the Kuzmin to Sremska Rača highway to Sarajevo, the Ruma – Šabac highway and the Sabac – Loznica highway, as well as the highway at the end of the Belgrade ring road from Ostružnica to Bubanj Potok.

The construction of the Frushkogorski corridor is important, because it connects with the direction of Ruma – Sabac-Loznica.

The Fruška Gora corridor will connect three municipalities: Novi Sad, Irig and Ruma, and will also solve the problem of the passage of trucks through Fruška Gora and Irig.

Soon we will have another road to the sea. These are the details.
