Marija Stanojska (31) tried to run away from her crazy lover Milan Živojinović (41), who knocked on her apartment door on Tuesday. According to the information known so far, the frightened woman did not want to let him enter the apartment, and waited for him to leave to be able to go outside, but did not expect that he would be waiting for her in an ambush in front of the building.
The maid who was with Maria in the apartment before the drama and crime happened, said that she noticed that Marija was sad.
A few hours before Milan killed Marija, with whom he allegedly had an emotional relationship, and then himself, knocked on the door of the apartment in Pancevo where he lived with his two minor daughters. The two got into a fight and he finally left.
They took with them the secret of the quarrel that preceded the tragedy and the relationship between them in general, if Marija wanted to break the relationship with him, and the truth is that the young woman did not report Milan to the police. harasses, threatens or hits you.
According to unofficial information, Marija’s father told the police that he did not know Milan Živojinović at all, nor that his daughter spoke about him.
Maria’s neighbors discovered that something was happening at the building on Sterija Street in Pancevo, a few hours before two bodies were found in her “golf course” on Tuesday afternoon.
– Milan knocked several times on the door of his apartment, but refused to open it. They were arguing, he left, but he seemed to be waiting for her in front of the building. At the time of the crime, Marija’s youngest daughter, who is two years old, was in kindergarten and the oldest was probably in school. He was probably waiting to pick up the kids. We assume that as soon as she left the building, he dragged her to the car, where he killed her. We suspect that she no longer wanted to be with him, and that made him angry – says a neighbor.
As the first results of the investigation show, Marija left the apartment in the afternoon and went to the car, it will probably never be known if she wanted to pick up the child in kindergarten or elsewhere, but Milan was waiting for her in front. Scared, Maria ran to her car and he quickly opened the passenger door and followed her.
At one point, she tried to get out of the vehicle again to escape him, but he fired a shot at the roof of the car. Despite that, he tried to escape, and the madman from Milan fired a shot at Marija’s head. Then he committed suicide near her.
When he was returning from work, a neighbor in the building saw something horrible and immediately called the police. As other neighbors added, no shots were heard in the building, so no one could guess what was happening a few meters from their homes.
“She was a good woman”
Marija is originally from Kacarevo, where her parents live. Father Dragan, a retired elderly man, has owned a car park in the center of Pancevo for several years, where he works with his son Filip. As a worker from the car lot told “Blic”, he has known Marija’s father for a long time.
– Tragedy! An honest and good family. He knew Maria, she was a good woman. Unfortunately, her two daughters have now lost their mother. Two days ago, we all sat together in Pancevo and talked, we could not guess that something like this could happen – said one of the employees.
Four children were left without a parent
By the way, Marija got pregnant at a very young age and gave birth to her first daughter when she was under 18 years old. She soon divorced the girl’s father and had a younger daughter with another single husband. Although the bride became a mother, she did not neglect education, but finished university and some time ago went to Germany to perfect her language. As none of his closest ones knew that he was in a relationship with Milan Ž., It is speculated that they met in Germany because this man from Gradište lived and worked in that country for some time. Milan was married, by the way, and has two grown children from his first marriage. He went to Germany with his second wife, with whom he had no children. He worked there as a driver. It is determined if he left the woman with whom he went to Germany or if he intended to do so to start a life with Maria. The question is, however, if the young woman had the same plans as him because, unlike Milan Ž. whose children have grown up, he was supposed to take two daughters on the trip, the youngest of whom is two years old.
The family is in shock
The family of the murdered Marija, who lives in the village of Kacarevo, not far from Pancevo, declined to comment on the tragic murder of their daughter.
– This is a great shock to everyone, please leave us alone, it is very difficult for us – said Marija’s parents, who are supposed to take care of their two daughters.
