She defeated the coronavirus and will be discharged from the Pancevo hospital in a few days.
According to the doctors, the mother is fine now and should soon be reunited with her son at home. The baby is also in excellent condition. However, just 30 days ago, the situation was very difficult and a ventilator was the only option for this young woman after a very dangerous C-section.
We were very scared
– Had a C-section on November 8. It is then connected to a respirator. The recordings of his lungs, as well as the scan we repeated, showed that his lungs were almost gone, they couldn’t be seen. I admit, we were very scared – says the director of the Pančevo hospital, Dr. Slobodan Ovuka.
It turned out that this woman had to be on a respirator, which practically breathed for her for a full 30 days. Doctors still fought like lions for her.
– Only with the firm will of our doctors, especially anesthesiologists and anesthetists, who took care of her tirelessly all those days, did she manage to fight and defeat the virus. His respirator was removed last week, explains Dr. Ovuka.

The doctor points out with great joy and pride in his voice that this mother must leave the hospital in the next few days and return home with the baby.
– Thanks to the great experience we acquired in the past period related to the crown, we managed to win the fight for the life of mother and son. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful events that happened during the difficult fight against the cruel disease – concludes Dr. Ovuka.
