After a horrible phone call from a friend of the now deceased Milenka T., a nephew and two other people who were looking for the missing retiree at the time, they went down to the basement of the building where she lived and found horror – the body of the unfortunate woman was dismembered and hidden in a black garbage bag.
“We were all in shock … First I saw my right arm and then the decapitated body,” he said.
As the doctor who worked on the autopsy of the murdered Milenka’s body explained, they killed her by hitting her on the head with a blunt object.
“The woman received several blows with a blunt object in the area of the right temple, after which she died. After her death, her body was cut with a sharp and soft tool,” said the autopsy.
The crime occurred in 2017 in a residential building on Kelner Landstrasse, and the son fled to Serbia immediately after the crime.

According to the indictment, he is accused of beating his mother to death while she slept in her apartment, and the reason given is that he resented her for having left his wife and five children a few years earlier and having traveled to Germany alone. .
Immediately after the discovery of the crime, the police formed a special team to investigate the murder of “Land”, on whose radar was one of the murdered woman’s children. However, the suspect had already traveled from Germany to Serbia at the time, which made it difficult to collect evidence and significantly slowed down the investigation. Only in spring 2018 will the Düsseldorf District Court issue an international Interpol warrant.
However, despite the arrest warrant, Serbia did not extradite the suspect until he made a mistake: he tried to cross the border into Croatia in January 2020. He was handcuffed immediately after crossing the border and his extradition was ordered. In June this year, members of the special team “Land” transferred him from Croatia to Dusseldorf.
“He has repeatedly denied in hearings that he had anything to do with the murder of his mother, and fought extradition to Germany by all legal means,” a German police officer said on the occasion of his arrest.
