With these words, Belkiša Osmanlić, the sister of the murdered Bisera Š. who was killed by Endin T. along with his mother Shefik and father Fehim, and then committed suicide a few hours later.
Endin broke into a family celebration in the town of Rasno in the Sjenica area, while Biser’s brother, Bekim, celebrated the birth of a child. At his bloody party, Endin wounded Bekim and two other relatives and fled.
As Biser’s sister told us, she came to the village of Rasno, in her hometown, from Germany for the birth of a son.
– She was very close to her family, especially her brother because she only had him. He came to his homeland because his brother was supposed to have a child and he came to be with his daughter-in-law and brother. Meanwhile I got married, she was with me. She accompanied me, packed me up, crying. Only those who know us know how attached we were, an inconsolable woman tells us.
As she says, Bisera was a very happy person and always laughed, despite the problems she had.
– She always joked and created a good atmosphere in this last period when everyone knew there were problems. Everyone knew it and everyone lived hard with it, but you couldn’t see it in her, she was strong for her children and she always hoped it would end well – says Biserina’s sister.
The two were not sisters, but since they had no births, they decided to be one for the other. Pearl, she says, was always with her, they slept in the same bed, they ate from the same plate.
– We were very similar to each other, and we shared sadness and joy. She was a strong girl, sadness could never be seen on her face, she skillfully covered all problems. I could always feel it and I always knew every detail of her problem … But always! she says.
Pearl loved to make others happy. She was a good mother, says the sister, and she loved all the children in this world.
“Nothing makes sense without her.” The most beautiful smile was killed. They have taken my life. She was a special creature. He had big plans, he dreamed of his children being successful. Then when we cried for her and everything that happened, she comforted us, as if nothing was happening to her … The only thing I can do for her now is be with our brother who survived this. I know that when he could, he would tell me to take care of Sheila and Aman. I will do my best for my pink rose – says the inconsolable woman.
His brother Bekim is fine, has undergone surgery and is stable.
One can only speculate as to what made Endina, Biser’s ex-husband, take such a gruesome step, as he committed suicide within hours of the crime. As a relative told us, Bisera and her ex hadn’t lived together for some time.
– They live abroad, in Germany, and Bisera came to Rasno on vacation and for the first time. I know that she lived in Germany with her daughter and son, separated from Endin. I don’t know if they were legally divorced, but they certainly weren’t on good terms, one of Biser’s relatives told us.
“The children heard everything”
When Endin ran away from home, the wounded Bekim managed to call a relative.
– He called me on the phone and told me to pick him up and take him to the hospital. It was scary, but she was thinking about how to save him. The kids were in another room, I don’t know who else was there from the neighbor’s kids with them. But it is terrible that they have seen and heard all that: a relative who found a terrifying scene told “Blic” before.
