Seselj attacks with disgust all those who mourn Balasevic and accuses them of “pagan desecration”

The leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Vojislav Seselj, said tonight that he was indifferent to the death of George Balasevic and that he was disappointed that the media celebrated the singer-songwriter, who, according to him, was “a traitor to the people Serbian “.

– I said everything I had to say about George Balasevic while he was alive. Now that he is dead, I have nothing to add or subtract. I am outraged that some pagan rituals desecrate monuments in the center of Belgrade and Novi Sad. They could have done that in the cemetery, in front of Balasevic’s house, elsewhere, Seselj said on the “Hit tweet” program.

It condemned the people who put up a poster with Balasevic’s face bearing the names of Svetozar Miletic and Vuk Karadzic.

In addition to Seselj, the show features director Dragoslav Gaga Antonijevic and journalist Zoran Ostojic.

From the start of the show, Seselj and Ostojic got into heated arguments, which is why host Verica Bradic had to intervene several times.

– End, you exaggerated. I thought it would be polite – reacted the presenter Verica Bradić.

Antonijevic said that the death of the famous singer-songwriter moved many people in the region.

– When a great artist leaves, he should be remembered for his works – said Antonijevic, adding that he grew up with his music and that he could give much more.

– I’m tied to your song ‘I love you in section’ and ‘Pub de Dios’ – said the director.

Speaking about the film “Dara iz Jasenovac”, Antonijevic said that there was a possibility and an opportunity to make a film like this before, but that “several governments that were after Tito” said “no, now” and that there was always something in to the detriment of the victims who were killed throughout the NDH, not just in Jasenovac.

– It is obvious that the power of the film as such is very strong. President Aleksandar Vučić asked if we could do Jasenovac and said that above all this film was made for his authority, the state supported that project – he added.

He says that the television premiere of “Dare from Jasenovac” was great and that he and his friend, producer Maksa Catovic, did not decide to see the film on television and donated it to people.

– We thought it was very important that this story, which has been waiting for 75 years, be told – said the director.

Referring to the criticisms from the “LA Times”, Antonijevic says that it is very important that we understand that no one will shed a tear for our victims.

– That this film is an icebreaker and that other ships follow it, because the subject of Jasenovac is great, and other subjects that are of national interest must be tackled – said Antonijevic.

Seselj said that he thinks this is one of the best Serbian movies of all time, because he read a lot about Jasenovac.

– I have no objections for any actor, the most difficult was for those who played the Ustashas. I think the topic is not exhausted – emphasized Seselj, adding that massive scenes should also have been shown.

– We have to transfer the main historical themes to the cinema screen – Seselj points out.

“There was no genocide in Srebrenica”

Seselj says that the idea of Serbs making a film about Srebrenica is not bad, like what preceded it is.

– Crimes must be classified, but to the extent that they deserve it, both their own and those of others. I did not support any crime. I rated the crimes committed by Serbs. There was no genocide in Srebrenica, no woman was killed, the SRS leader noted.

Antonijevic said that he wanted to complete the series “Dara iz Jasenovac” and that the Storm should also be filmed.

– The storm is important, we have a brother and a sister, Buda and Daru, who will catch the beginning of the Storm, and that is the post-tragedy of the children of Jasenovac – said Antonijević.

“I hope Porphyry continues the policy of Patriarch Paul and Irenaeus”

Speaking about the election of the new patriarch Porfirio, Seselj says there was a fear that the foreign services would make Bishop Grigorije elected.

– When I saw that there were three candidates in the game, I was calm, I did not care who would be elected, because the church would be in good hands. Porfirio will cooperate with the government, he is not in conflict, but I hope he will not give in when it comes to Kosovo. I hope it stays there permanently, and God permitting, various regimes will be observed.

According to him, he is asking the new patriarch three things: to fight for the rest of Kosovo and Metohija as part of Serbia, to protect church property, and to maintain the unity of the Serbian people.

“I believe that the policy of Patriarchs Pavle and Irinej will continue, and if he persists in keeping Kosovo and Metohija as part of Serbia, he will have our support,” he added.

“Rudan is a Serbian friend”

This week, the Serbian Government plane with Prime Minister Ana Brnabić brought to Montenegro the first delivery of 2,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines to Montenegro, which were donated by Serbia, with the approval of Moscow. Previously, Serbia donated vaccines to North Macedonia.

Seselj says he appreciates Indian medicine and is grateful that AstraZeneca came from this country. He believes, he says, in the correctness of the Indian vaccine. Regarding the vaccine donation, Seselj says that it is a good gesture, but perhaps the Prime Minister should not have brought the vaccines from Montenegro, as our ambassador was expelled.

– The meeting at the airport was cordial, that’s how I understood it – says Seselj.

Ostojic says that Serbia is interested in relaxing regional relations. For this reason, he says, he supports everything that leads to the improvement of relationships.

Seselj referred to the fact that some Croatian citizens received the corona virus vaccine in Serbia.

– It happened here that Vedrana Rudan and her husband and Miroslav Ćiro Blažević were vaccinated. Serbian nationalists have followed this sympathetically, and those who are upset are anti-Serb. Journalists asked him if he felt bad because he could have denied someone in Serbia the opportunity to get vaccinated. Rudan is a Serbian friend – emphasized Seselj.
