The Popular Party in Nis reminded the Free Citizens Movement that the upcoming elections are false and unsafe for the health of citizens.

Sergei Trifunovic’s decision to participate in the upcoming parliamentary and local elections with the Free Citizens Movement (PSG) is rational and timely, but also without principles and irresponsible, since it gives legitimacy to fraudulent elections and jeopardizes the security of citizens, announced today the People’s Party Commission. ) in Nis.

– With their participation, the PSG will only give political legitimacy to the next elections, which makes Sergej and that Movement unconscious accomplices of the regime. Holding these elections jeopardizes the security of citizens, and the legitimacy of the PSG gives legitimacy to the decision to hold them. Although PSG will likely achieve a relatively good result, these fraudulent elections will not lead to political change. So, the participation of PSG in the next elections is not profitable for PSG, but it is bad for Serbia – declared the representative of the National Assembly Commission, Dragan Stojadinović.

In a statement, Stojadinovic estimates that the PSG “will perform disproportionately well in the upcoming elections and will obtain a disproportionately large number of MPs in relation to the actual rating of this organization” because the unsuccessful fight against the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia “created a lot of dissatisfied citizens. ” They are voting against the progressive regime, “and the PSG” will be the only relevant opposition “due to the boycott of the opposition.

– Dear Mr Trifunović, I ask you publicly, what result of the elections would justify your decision to go to the polls? What will Serbia gain from that if it achieves 10% in the elections? It will have a large number of well-paid parliamentary seats, but what will Serbia have? – Stojadinović also asks.

He reiterates that the Popular Party, as a state-building organization, despite the obvious opposition to participating in the elections, will not participate in “something that endangers the security of citizens and grants political legitimacy to the progressive regime.”
