Mladic recalls that this is not the first time that Russians in the Security Council have spoken about the negligence of the state of Ratko Mladic, but it is the first time that they have issued an official statement on that occasion.

– The position of Russia is known, they affirmed what is obvious that Ratko Mladic is denied the right to treatment, the right to be visited by his doctors, which he has according to the Regulations. One is a visit and the other is an exam. You have the right to be examined by doctors, not just to be visited. When the doctors arrived, they were told that they could only swallow with a stethoscope. Darko said.

He recalled that his father has extremely complex illnesses, and that without a fight between his family and the legal team, he would not have survived the day several times, and that it is a miracle that he survived at all.

– We constantly face the same situation. They deny the problems, so we raise the alarm in public opinion, and when everything passes, they recommend that our doctors apply the changes as if they did – Darko Mladic also affirmed.

As he says, his father’s current condition has not changed.

– The nature of his disease is such that it goes up – down, he currently has problems with his blood pressure and his hemoglobin finally improved – added Mladic, noting that the family was only informed after a year that he had bleeding.

Ratko Mladic’s lawyer, Branko Lukic, says they have pointed out different approaches to people in the detention unit at The Hague Court, depending on their nationality.

– Over time, it has become useless to point this out because there were no arguments to prove otherwise. Our people were released only when their father or mother died. No arguments are even needed there. Trials are written choosing evidence, not everything has to be explained and analyzed. Only those who respond are eliminated – added Lukić.

According to him, the struggle for life Ratko mladic It is continuous, but the problem is that not everything can be made public, we are limited because information about someone’s health is secret.
