The municipality of Prijepolje has been leading for days in the number of new patients in the Zlatibor district, while at the same time the number of first examinations in the Kovid ambulance increases from hour to hour.
Due to these numbers, at the suggestion of the profession, the Headquarters of Emergency Situations declared a state of emergency in the territory of the municipality of Prijepolje.
The decision was also made to improve the work of the Kovid outpatient clinic at the General Hospital and the Health Center by better organizing the reception of patients and in order to speed up examinations.
– Respecting the profession and appreciating the seriousness of the situation, and yet wanting to help the health system, which is not in the most enviable situation, because day by day we have an increase in the number of infected and growing pressure on the Kovid Hospital in Uzice, we decided to reduce the working day. shorten the facilities at 9 pm, but also to prohibit meetings in open and closed spaces larger than prescribed by the crisis staff of the Republic – said the Deputy Mayor of Prijepolje, Esad Hodžić.
