Srdjan V, who was arrested shortly before the execution took place, wore several layers of clothing during the arrest. According to the investigating authorities, the idea was that some of the clothing could be thrown away when it was liquidated. He also didn’t have a cell phone with him.
A few minutes after the arrest, a Jabucanin appeared in front of the building, who is believed to be a potential victim. According to Montenegrin media, Srdjan V. used to have a different surname, but changed his surname.
During a hearing with the special prosecutor Sasa Cadjenovic, he denied the crimes against him and accused the police of beating him to obtain a confession. So he asked someone from the Serbian Embassy to go to the prosecutor’s office to make sure that the prosecutor would declare the violations.
The Serbian embassy unofficially announced that they were summoned to the prosecution on that occasion, but that they could not give details because it is a case marked as secret.
Srđan V. was also in the Emergency Center, where the doctor made a report and, according to unofficial information, he had bruises under his eyes. It is not known if he suffered injuries in the police, as he claims, or before, so, by order of the prosecutor, it will be determined by a medical expert.
As already written, on the day of the arrest, the police received a report that a suspicious person was found in front of the building near the Vizier’s Bridge, where the person believed to be the target lives.
Members of the Montenegrin task force immediately arrived and identified a younger person who had documents in his name in the name of Srdjan V. They confiscated his purse and found a pistol without a serial number. A few minutes later, a young man who was supposed to be killed passed by. The suspect was arrested at the same time, and members of the police headed towards the apartment where the Serb was staying, which is believed to be close to the “scalp clan”.
During police questioning, Srdjan V. said that he had nothing to do with the planning of the killings and that he did not know the young man who, according to police suspicions, should have been the target.
