Two lifeless bodies in the canal and the third in a wrecked car, in the village of Lovćenac in the Mali Iđoš municipality, were found today around nine o’clock, and as “Blic” finds out, a 22-year-old boy and two girls , both born in 2003, died late. in the afternoon or early morning hours between Saturday and Sunday when they are most likely to return from socializing.

As we have learned from the General Prosecutor’s Office, a BMW vehicle driven by a young man was traveling down 13 de Julio Street from the direction of Lovćenac towards the train station when, most likely at an uncontrolled speed, it lost control of the vehicle. The car first hit a concrete bridge, overturned and fell into a channel with water that is under that bridge.
From the investigation we learned that the vehicle was completely destroyed.

Even after the investigation, the Basic Public Ministry cannot specify what exactly happened and how, because an extensive investigation is now underway that will determine all possible details of the accident in which, unfortunately, up to three young people died.
– The investigation is over. The bodies of the victims were sent for autopsy. Now the circumstances will be checked, as well as where they were before the tragedy and everything else that preceded the tragic accident – they say in OJT.

There is silence in Lovćenac. The locals are in shock. They don’t know what happened either, but they say that the bridge there foresaw a tragedy.
A Lovćenac resident explains that there are no houses in the vicinity of the bridge and that the crash site, part of the road and the bridge are surrounded only by meadows and fields.
– The bridge suddenly cuts a road that would otherwise be very busy and many times I have thought that a tragedy like this is possible. A neighbor and I went to the scene of the accident and found several young people there, probably friends of the victim Dobanović and the girls. I don’t know a boy or a girl personally. These are young, they just had to live. We are very sorry for everyone, great sadness has reigned here now – says a Lovćenac resident.
According to locals, 13 de Julio Street leads to the train station and then appears on the other side of the bridge in the middle of the asphalt.
– Young Dobanović was not on the bridge, so he landed on it or crossed it and hit the pages. From what we hear, the car crashed into a concrete off-road bridge, flipped over, and then the car fell into a canal. It seems to us that this bridge is upside down or, as people would say, as if it were tilted. We have no words to describe this horror that happened, nor do we know exactly how it happened. Most likely they came back from socializing, they are young and it was a weekend. I feel great sadness and I am very sorry for their families. It is a great tragedy – say the locals.
The journalists knocked on the door of the house where the injured young man, Danilo Dobanović, lived. One of the relatives said that none of the relatives would give a statement to the media.
– It’s the hardest thing for their families now. I hope you have the sincerest condolences from all of us – says a woman from Lovćenac.
