Our girls’ match with the Dutch was supposed to be played yesterday in the same legislature, but it was postponed due to positive cases of coronavirus in the Serbian team, so the whole team was isolated.

Our handball players scored the first goal from the penalty spot. The top scorer is Kristina Krpež, who gave our girls the first lead (1: 0).

The Dutch quickly reversed the result and took the lead with 2: 1, but then our girls scored again.

After a very uncertain start, the Dutch team managed to gain an advantage with the result 6: 3.

Our national coach, Ljubomir Obradović, requested a time-out.

Our handball player Sanja Radosavljević reduced the Dutch team’s lead to 8: 6 with a precise shot. However, the advantage was increased again to three goals difference in the next attack.

There is a painter from the Serbian team, one of our best players, Andrea Lekić, injured her Achilles tendon with the result 13: 8 for the opposing team.

He had to quit the game immediately. They had to carry her out of the field on a stretcher.

The severity of the injury is still unknown, but judging by her painful grin, the tournament is over for her.

The experienced Katarina Tomašević defended the seven-meter throw to the Netherlands and gave the lead to our national team, then Pop-Lazić increased it to 26:24.
