Kosovo Assembly President Vjosa Osmani accused Serbia of carrying out systematic ethnic cleansing of Albanians in Medvedja, Bujanovac and Presevo.
Osmani stated last night on Facebook that, according to the 2011 census, there were 7,438 Albanians living in Medvedja, and that now, as he claims, there are estimated to be only 600 Albanians, although there are no official statistics.

The issue of Albanians and human rights in the Presevo Valley must be resolved within the country and abroad. A country that actively participates in ethnic cleansing, albeit with “sophisticated” methods, does not deserve to be a member of the EU, Osmani said.
