In the last 24 hours, 18,592 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 7,041 of them tested positive, while sadly, 61 people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampolín” Institute, there are 254 patients with respirators in hospitals across the country.
– Today is a difficult day, especially in terms of the death toll, but we must fight and continue to build our health system – Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today at the tank exhibition at the Niš barracks.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić stated that the situation in the countries where many of our people live is being monitored, that they may come to Serbia in large numbers during the holidays, and that decisions on possible further measures will be taken in accordance with that situation.
“Every day we think of new measures and we look at the data every two hours,” Ana Brnabić said, responding to journalists’ question whether additional measures will be introduced before the New Year holidays.
