This year, Serbia is not among the top ten countries from which Kosovo imports, while in 2016 it ranked first, according to data from Kosovo Customs.
According to koha.net, this was influenced by the tax that was introduced in 2018 on products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the campaign against products originating in Serbia.
Serbia is currently in twelfth place of the countries from which Kosovo imports.
Kosovo Customs said the highest rates of exports to Kosovo in 2020 were recorded in Germany, Turkey, China, North Macedonia and Albania.
According to goods, the most imported products are tobacco products, vehicles, the food industry, as well as construction materials, while the majority of metals are exported.
From January to the end of August this year, 265 million euros were collected in customs, compared to 229 million euros last year, which represents an increase of 36 million euros.
