SERBIA GETS KOVID REDARE: They’ll keep an eye on you while you enjoy your coffee, this is how your Croatian colleagues had a good time

In the last session of the Crisis Staff, the decision was made that in the following period, the use of masks in the service facilities will be controlled by a specially designated person, one of the employees.

At the Crisis Personnel session, Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević pointed out that starting today, every service facility must have a responsible person, whose task is to strictly implement preventive measures.

– We must do our best to organize ourselves as much as possible and apply measures that are neither expensive nor difficult. We can only be successful if we really behave like this – Kisić mentioned.

He spoke more about that at today’s press conference, in the regular crown section.

As he said, the person who will control the application of the measures must have all the facilities with two or more employees.

– What has proven to be an important preventive measure is determining who will control the implementation of the measures, because it is possible that people lose attention during working hours, and that is exactly the idea. Where there is a person, this measure does not apply to those facilities, but to facilities where we have more than two employees – he explained.

Dr. Kisić stressed that all measures are taken for the benefit of the entire population.

– We must not observe all preventive measures from that aspect, from the aspect of punishment and control. These are all steps that are taken to benefit us all. If everyone wore masks all the time, we wouldn’t need any additional measurements. I cannot accept that any sanction and punitive measure is more important to someone than the desire to preserve their own health – explained Dr. Kisić.

With this, in all service facilities, Serbia, in practice, practically got a coward of guards, who will make sure that the prescribed measures are respected. If the measures are not modified, the warden is responsible for the non-compliance with the regulations.

This form of control is already applied in Croatia, which breaks infamous records in the number of infected people, so that in this country in the last 24 hours an incredible number was registered, up to 1,131 new cases.

That is, the kovid guards of our neighbors are required to keep records of the following:

  • that the physical distance between guests is 1.5 meters throughout the stay in all areas, including arrival and departure (this rule does not have to apply between members of the same household or people who are in close contact) ; the same applies in Serbia
  • each person must have at least four square meters of space; the same is true in Serbia
  • there should be no places to stand or high tables where only standing guests are possible
  • The seats must be marked in advance and five feet apart.
  • guests enter the space so that they are not delayed or clustered, but must immediately sit at your table
  • the maximum number of people at a table is eight – in Serbia 6
  • It is recommended that people from the same household sit at the same table; the same is true in Serbia
  • Of course, as in Serbia and Croatia, it is essential to check whether the customer wears a mask.

It has not yet been specified if the Kovid guards will have to do all this in our country, but we just hope that our controllers do not experience the same fate as those in Croatia. That is, at the beginning of the work of the kovid guardians in Croatia, some of them encountered unpleasant situations, insults and say that “they became fierce competition for transport controllers and parking service workers in the most hated occupations. “.

It so happened that many did not want to respect the decision to wear a mask while moving around a restaurant or cafe, and the people of Zagreb had a hard time deciding not to approach other tables even if they wanted to “blow up” someone.

The guests valued the new normal in Croatian cafes “not as a taste but as a prison”.

It should be recalled that the control of (non-compliance) of epidemiological measures in Serbia is mainly carried out by inspectors of the Sanitary Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health, as well as representatives of the Communal Militia. The question is, given their numbers, how successful.

Domestic epidemiologists are constantly calling for masks to be worn indoors, and especially on public transport, which is controlled by the communal militia and inspectors from the Health Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health. The fine for breach of the measure is 5,000 dinars.

The communal militia also controls whether the measures related to the shortening of restoration work since last week are being respected, which should close its doors at 11 at night.
