Of the 2,074 new coronavirus cases, as many as were reported in Serbia on the first day of 2021, the majority are back in Belgrade, but that number is significantly lower than in previous days.
In the last 24 hours, 601 new cases were registered in Belgrade, 207 less than yesterday.
In all other cities, fewer than 100 new infected people were registered.
In second place in terms of the number of new infected is Nis today with 99, which is nine more than yesterday.
The third is again Kragujevac with 74 new patients. This is a significant drop in the number of new infections, considering that yesterday there were 103.
Novi Sad follows with 59 new cases that can finally take a breather because, compared to yesterday’s report, the number of new infected is much lower. There were up to 163 of them yesterday.
Other cities are also experiencing a decline in the number of new infections.
In Kruševac, 56 were recorded, while in Kraljevo, 54 were recently infected.
Uzice and Sabac have 49 new cases each, and Vranje 44.
In Smederevo, 43 new cases were registered, Pancevo has 37 and Leskovac 29 new cases.
Valjevo has 25 new infected, one less is registered in Bogatić and 23 are registered in Požarevac.
Kovin follows with 21 and Arandjelovac with 20 new infected.
In other cities and municipalities in Serbia, fewer than 20 patients were registered in the previous 24 hours.
