“Not only because of politics, but also because of finances, because it is about the sale of billions of vaccines. The advantage of Serbia is that we can order and get the vaccine from everywhere. That is why we should not assess whether it comes from West or East, but as it is, “Dacic said.
He emphasized that he is not an expert in giving an assessment, adding that all he knows in that area is that the generally accepted position is that the kovid-19 vaccine must be effective and safe.
“So it is effective in terms of action and safe in terms of preventing all harmful consequences. This means that tests must be carried out and there must be certificates, that is, permits from the relevant competent institutions. For example, when the pandemic of swine flu, I remember that there was a situation that the vaccine circulating in Europe did not obtain a permit in America, ”said the President of the Assembly of Serbia.
When asked which vaccine he would choose, Dacic said he would get the first in a row, if everything was checked.
“If everyone has a permit and certificates, it is absolutely irrelevant where they come from. Vaccines must be verified, and the certificate must be issued by our accreditation body, and the European body must do the same. If the European body does not issue a certified, since it did not issue it for “Chinese vaccine during swine flu, so we practically put ourselves in a difficult position, because we could not apply it. He added that it is urgent to find a vaccine, but that it is also urgent to explain to everyone that the vaccine is effective and safe so that “there are not several conspiracy theories that can only cause harm.”
According to Sputnik, Dacic does not rule out the possibility that some of the vaccines are also produced in Serbia.
“I think that this pandemic has opened many questions to think about, for example, why is something not happening not only in our country but also in Europe. Nobody in Europe has produced protective masks and when what happened happened, nobody could not buy neither protective masks nor gloves, because they were produced in the East. Before there were reserves in the former Yugoslavia, but today there are none.
