Construction of a hangar with a battery station at the military airport “Sergeant Pilot Mihajlo Petrović” in Niš, although planned as a three-year project in the period 2018-2020. year, it was completed before the deadline, in 2019.

The purpose of this hangar is, in addition to housing the H-145M and Mi-35 helicopters, to enable the maintenance of the aircraft and create quality working conditions, space for the storage of tools and materials. Immediately next to the hangar facility, a battery station was built, which is connected to the hangar by a connecting canopy, and in which there is space for the inspection and maintenance of the batteries with the necessary accompanying content in the equipment located at the airport.

The construction works of a hangar to house MiG-29 service aircraft in the Air Defense System of the Air Defense Forces at the military airport “Coronel – Piloto Milenko Pavlovic” in Batajnica, are in the final phase, so conditions will be provided to accommodate airplanes, reduced time needed to prepare airplanes and allowed less stress on humanity. In addition, the influence of meteorological factors will be minimized.

In addition to the new hangar, the Batajnica military airport, after 21 years of being bombed during the NATO aggression, received modern light signaling on runway number one, which allows its safe use in night conditions and low visibility, and is keep working on track number one. two, as well as in the reconstruction of the water supply network at that airport.

Based on the investments in infrastructure at the civil-military airport “Morava” near Kraljevo, the reconstruction of reinforced concrete shelters for the accommodation of aircraft is being carried out, and the reconstruction of the runway and the construction of the light signaling system.
