Members of the Belgrade Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the Superior Prosecutor’s Office, identified ML (1970), a suspect in the murder of SS (1990) in New Belgrade.
It is suspected that on the morning of September 13 this year, ML went from an apartment in Vracar on an electric bicycle to an underground garage in New Belgrade, where he placed an improvised explosive device in an SS car.
He is suspected of remotely activating the explosive device, which he placed in his lower body under the driver’s seat, around 12 noon on the same day, and SS soon died of his injuries.
The police, by order of the Higher Public Ministry, filed a criminal complaint against ML on suspicion that he committed the crime of aggravated homicide. In cooperation with other state bodies, an international arrest warrant is issued, as the suspect is not just a citizen of the Republic of Serbia.
