Spring temperatures in December drew Belgrade residents outside, despite harsh new measures, with some of them heading to the enclosed cafe gardens. Thus, the gardens of some bars in the city center, despite the fact that all restaurant services were closed during the weekend as part of the measures in the fight against the corona virus pandemic, were full.

Some, as can be seen in our photos, decided to spend time walking around the city, others exercising in Ada Ciganlija, while some took advantage of the sunny morning hours to sit with friends in the garden of a cafe, despite the fact that the cafes they do not work.

Reporters from “Blic” visited some of the most popular walks in Belgrade and met a large number of fellow citizens who decided to spend Saturday morning on the air.

Some catering facilities were sold over the counter, so many had hot drinks.

In Vracar, however, the gardens of the cafes were left empty.

The reason for that may have been the proximity of Tasmajdan Park, where there was hardly any free bench.

It should be recalled that, due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation, new measures came into force yesterday, which mainly refer to the shortening of the working day of almost all the facilities in Serbia, which have been closed since 5:00 p.m. since yesterday. This time too, catering facilities are in the foreground, however, now new, stricter measures include many other service activities. You can read more about these measures in a special news item.
