As we found out, Mihajlović initially asked Bajatović where his associates were, given the clear instruction that the directors attend the first important meeting with their closest associates to learn and determine the principles of working with the new minister.
Bajatović justified himself by saying that they were “on the road or sick or had other obligations.”
– What can they know that I don’t? I’m here. I feel like I’m in the War Office – he said.
The minister replied that she did not see what the problem was, what she was looking for so terribly.
– The Deputy Prime Minister calls you to the first important meeting in the department and you show respect for this Government by coming with an associate as requested. And you have enough collaborators, thank God. This is disrespectful, not for me, but for the Government of Serbia. Please leave the meeting, you cannot attend – said Mihajlović.
After Bajatović refused to leave the meeting, at the request of the Deputy Prime Minister, the security service allegedly removed him from the meeting.
