The city’s traffic will not be suspended and the time of the so-called rush hour is being extended, when the number of vehicles will be increased, the crisis personnel of Belgrade decided today, as “Blic” learned.

As “Blic” finds out, instead of the previous rush hour, which lasted from 15 to 17 hours, when the maximum number of vehicles was included, it will be extended in the future and will last from 15 to 20 hours.

This decision, when the others made by the Crisis Personnel of the Republic for the fight against the corona virus on Saturday, will begin to be applied tomorrow.

The bus will stop at the station

According to the decision of the city crisis headquarters, 236 more vehicles will be included than usual in that period.

This practically means that there will be 1,641 public transport vehicles on the streets in the 15-20 hour period.

The accusations that appeared in the public, such as that if the bus is full in more than 50 percent, it will not stop at the station, they have no basis, they claim for “Blic” in the city.

In the last two days, 652 inspections have been carried out in the capital and controls have been carried out on restaurants, commercial premises and shopping centers.

In two cases, the bar was ordered to be emptied and measures were taken. In one case, the communal militia banned work on the premises for 72 hours, six misdemeanor orders were issued …

Since the beginning of the intensified controls, 12,558 inspections have been carried out.

It should be remembered that on Saturday, the Government of Serbia, at the suggestion of the Crisis Personnel for the fight against the coronavirus, adopted new measures that will take effect tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. There are a total of 7 of them, and among them is the shortening of the working hours of restaurants, cafes, bars, discos, betting houses and shopping centers until 6 in the afternoon, with the exception of the stores, which will operate until 9 pm.

Radojicic after the Crisis Staff session: Greater control

A meeting of Belgrade crisis staff was held today in order to harmonize the measures in the capital with the new anti-epidemic measures at the state level. The Mayor of Belgrade, Zoran Radojicic, said after the session for RTS that the main topic was the limitation of working hours until 6 pm

Radojicic said that a cross-section of the current situation was made and that one of the important issues was the operation of public traffic in the city.

He insisted that the maximum number of buses be used in the coming days, which means 236 more than in the previous days, and a total of 1,461.

He also insisted that the Communal Militia be constantly on the ground, that they will patrol the bus stops with 15 patrols and control the implementation of the measures.

The optimal number of people stands out on the bus.

On buses the optimal number of people in the vehicles will be highlighted, and disinfection will be carried out constantly.

Speaking of the control of the existing measures, the mayor said that after 9 pm, the capital is quiet, which means that a large percentage of the measures are respected.

As he said, yesterday the Communal Militia entered 114 buildings and four shopping centers. Two facilities were operating after hours and one had more people than allowed.

In addition, the Communal Militia leaves at the request of the citizens if there is a party somewhere. In this way, six games were interrupted.

Radojicic told the public that the essence is not to think of a creative way to avoid respecting the measures, but that everyone must seriously address their implementation.
