The Social Democratic Union changed its name to the Radical Left Party and adopted a new program, the Declaration of Workers’ Rights, as well as a new Statute.

The historian Milena Repajic, the sociology student Isidora Acimov, the playwright Ivan Velisavljevic, the dramaturgy student Mina Milosevic and the activist Ivan Zlatic were elected to the presidency of the Radical Left Party.
“The radical left party is fighting for a socialist society based on equality, solidarity, freedom, democracy, internationalism, anti-imperialism and anti-fascism, a society in which people will be more important than profits” the statement said.
