Today Belgrade Deputy Mayor Goran Vesić posted photos showing the renovated facade of the old train station building, indicating that Savski Square is becoming the new center of the city.

“The building of the old train station then and now. Savski trg, the largest in Serbia, is being turned into a new city center, an open-air museum. This is how Belgrade is arranged and loved. Go ahead! “Vesić stated on Facebook, where he posted photos of the old train station. before and after renovation.

Vesić also posted photos of the old train station last night, stating that the recently renovated façade was lit up and decorative lighting put into operation.

Vesić wrote that the old station will be the Nikola Tesla Museum, the largest and most representative in the world.

“Only now can you see the beauty of this building. I am proud!” Declared Vesić.

He added that these days he heard, as he himself said, (to the president of SAA Dragan) “Djilas and the false Serbian elite as’ crying for the fate of the station.”

“Until recently, this building was leaking, and the building’s facade was collapsing. They were unable to repair the roof or paint the facade, and now that we’ve renovated it, they remembered this building. What hypocrisy!” Vesić wrote.
