“The shelter referred to the instructions of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, but nowhere in those instructions and recommendations did it say that the guaranteed provision of services to people in need should be abolished. He stated that Initiative A11 filed a criminal complaint against the director of the Shelter for the suspicion that she committed the crime of labor negligence in the service in accordance with article 361 of the Penal Code.
“As a responsible person in the institution, he obviously acted unscrupulously in the performance of his service, although he was aware that such actions would have serious consequences for people in need of help,” Šahović specified.
He highlighted that in the last eight months, homeless people have been helped by non-governmental organizations.
