The Freedom and Justice Party (SAA) said it demanded that the government, led by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, accept all measures, not just two, out of a total of five measures they proposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

As announced by that party, the three remaining measures that must be accepted are the recommendation that all people who can work from home, that school holidays are extended for a limited period and that the contracting of private health care enables health care for some patients.

“Three days ago, referring to the opinions of the profession, we proposed five concrete measures to prevent the spread of the virus. We demand that Aleksandar Vučić and Ana Brnabić stop looking at their rating and start caring about people,” the SAA said.

According to them, the response came through brutal attacks in which the authorities claimed that their proposals made no sense and that they actually wanted to imprison citizens, which is not true.

“On the contrary, our measures should avoid the introduction of curfews and the imprisonment of citizens for several days,” they said, adding that Prime Minister Brnabic announced today that they have accepted two of the five proposed measures.
