Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will begin a tour of the region tomorrow, during which he will visit Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Lavrov will pay a working visit to Athens tomorrow, where he will meet with Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, as well as the leader of the radical left opposition Alexis Tsipras.

He will then go to Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 28, where he will hold talks with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, separately with the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Russian Foreign Ministry previously announced that the topic of conversation during the visit of the head of Russian diplomacy will be the further development of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Russia in the field of politics, trade, economy and culture, as well as humanitarian issues.

On the same day, Lavrov will pay a two-day visit to Serbia.

Earlier, it was announced that Lavrov should also meet with Patriarch Irinej.

The talks will focus on cooperation between Russia and Serbia, important international and regional issues, as well as the situation regarding the resolution of the Kosovo issue, Zaharova said previously.
