The Belgrade arena was moved to the kovid system today and will be able to receive 510 patients who are being treated for the corona virus.
According to the words of the main medical coordinator of that hospital, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Predrag Bogdanović, the accommodation capacity has been expanded with 150 new beds arranged on the third floor of the ward.
Currently 10 doctors and 20 medical technicians have been recruited and the number of medical workers will increase depending on the number of patients. Patients will be cared for by medical personnel from 15 health centers.
The gallery rooms are mostly double, with bathroom and have a small kitchen and TV. The ground floor has 40 boxes with nine beds and a shared bathroom.
Laboratory tests, lung and heart imaging can be performed in the Arena.
Sand also has a central oxygen distribution, so respirators can be attached.
