Dimitrije S. (43), who was arrested today for assaulting a police inspector in Novi Sad, has a long record.
As we learn, the police have known Dimitrije for a long time. He has an international career as a thief. He was arrested for breaking into apartments, but also for rape.
According to our information, abroad, he and the criminal group to which he belonged were targeted by the rich, and even by politicians and artists. They broke into villas and robbed.
Dimitrije S. from Novi Sad was arrested on Đorđe Zličića street on suspicion of seriously injuring a police inspector in this city. A man who was in Dimitrije’s company at the time of the attack was first arrested for swift action, and shortly thereafter, the suspect for wounding the inspector “fell”.
Dimitri is charged with the act of “aggravated attempted murder”.
It all happened in the Salajka settlement, on Sava Đisalova street, when the UN inspector, who was off duty, saw a person trying to break into a passenger car.
“During the search, it is suspected that he inflicted stab wounds to the arm and leg of an off-duty criminal police inspector who tried to prevent him from stealing a car in Salajka,” the Ministry of the Inside.
Suspect Dimitrije S. was detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before Novi Sad’s chief prosecutor, along with a criminal report.
