The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute issued a warning due to the creation of a snow cover in Serbia.
According to the announcements, at the end of the day and at night in southwestern Serbia, a layer of snow 5 to 15 cm high will form, in the mountains from 15 to 25 cm. Combined with colder weather, ice can create, which is a slipping hazard, warns AMS S.
In the mountainous areas of southern and southwestern Serbia, a layer of snow will form, so certain mountain roads will be covered with snow and where, in addition to winter tires, drivers will also have to use chains. The RHMZ warning is valid until December 28.

The snowfall didn’t miss Čačak either, early this morning the rain turned into sleet and snow. Snow has been falling in the municipality of Gornji Milanovac for hours, and in the villages on the slopes of Mount Suvobor a layer of snow of several centimeters has already formed.
The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute also announced that a strong southeast wind (Kosava), occasionally stormy forces with a maximum speed of 24 to 28 m / s, will blow in the south of Banat from Monday to Wednesday.
On Monday we will have mostly cloudy, windy and much warmer weather. In most places in Serbia, the highest temperature will be 10-15 degrees Celsius.
