On Thursday and Friday a strong wind (koava) is expected with a maximum speed of 24 to 28 m / s, that is, up to 100 kilometers per hour, according to the notice of the Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republic (RHMZ).

Additionally, RHMZ claims there will be moderate and strong wind from the southeast in the Koav area through Sunday.

Tomorrow morning there will be light frosts in some places, in the valleys and fog. During the day it will be mostly windy and a bit warmer, in most dry places.

In the afternoon, in some places in the north, west and southwest, a light short-lived kia is expected. The wind will be strong in the highest mountainous areas and in the Koav area, in June and southeast, and stormy in Banat in June, which is why an orange weather alarm has been issued for this area of ​​the country, which will be in effect until Sunday.

Wind gusts greater than 24 m / s make it possible to damage movable and immovable property (especially buildings and roofs, chimneys, attics, awnings, greenhouses …), so that there are possible problems in transport and traffic (possibility of overturning cars and trucks …), that it is possible to damage minds, trees in parks and individual trees (breaking branches and weaker trees), as well as problems in construction, danger of serious injury that endangers the lives of people and animals.
