The list of properties issued by notaries public is in total contradiction with the law and represents a direct theft of our product, announced the Geodetic Authority of the Republic (RGZ).
Photo: Radnik.rsNotaries have direct access to the central cadastral database for the free download of the digital document of the property list, but they do not have the right to issue the property list, nor the document that they “generate” from the database. cadastral can be called a “property list,” RGZ warned in a statement.
“It is their competence, at the request of the party, to print that document and, without any change, also certify that payment service.” However, the ‘real estate certificate’ issued by notaries is issued in a way that gives the impression that it is a completely new document, on the first page of which are the symbols of the Ministry of Justice, not the RGA, and the data of the list of properties is presented in the form, which recalls the old aspect of the cadastral extract ”, warned RGZ, which considers it a direct theft of its product.
The RGA statement considers that notaries public knowingly and intentionally confuse Serbian citizens and endanger their trust in state bodies. “By plagiarizing the real estate list, the Chamber of Notaries appears to be trying to obtain credit for itself and the Ministry of Justice for the successful reforms in the field of land administration implemented by the RGA,” the statement concludes.
