The Republic Electoral Commission (REC) has announced the Electoral List of the “Broom 2020” movement for the parliamentary elections to be held on June 21, 2020.
The list of elections for the “Escoba 2020” Movement was announced a day after its presentation, because in the meantime, at least 128 statements were requested from legally missing voters, whose lack was determined in the REC session the previous night.
The new 128 voter signatures were to be submitted no later than 48 hours after the filing of that conclusion.
The explanation of the decision on the proclamation of the list establishes that the Movement “Escoba 2020” delivered the missing signatures of support today at 1:05 p.m., which created the conditions for the proclamation of the list.
It was also determined that the members of the expanded composition of the REC of the “Broom 2020” Movement will be Boris Košćal, as a member, and Zorica Simonović, as a substitute member.
The REC rejected as “inadmissible” the objection of Vladimir Gvozdenović de Šabac, which referred to the Decision on changes and amendments to the instructions for conducting elections for deputies.
The complaint, which was rejected, contained an assessment that the amendments were made by the dissolved National Assembly, and that they jeopardized the rights of those who collected signatures to participate in the elections before the declaration of a state of emergency due to the coronavirus epidemic.
