The historian and writer Jusuf Budzovi evaluated the history of Kosovo and Albania in the textbooks as scandalous, speaking of the alleged influence of the lies of Serbian historians on the history of Albania.
Bukhovi accused Kosovo and Albania of inserting historical lies into textbooks.
“Today is a very big problem because the Albanian historiography has accepted this issue, this lie of his, I am talking about the institutional history and the history of Kosovo, and everywhere they say Tsar Dusan, Tsar Lazar, the medieval kingdom of Serbia , and they have included it in the textbooks. He continues, and now it is included in the historiography of Kosovo and Albania, in the textbooks, and that is very scandalous, and this Serbian lie is sold as a historical truth, and not it’s the truth, ”says Budzovi.
He blamed the Kosovo Academy and the Albanian Academy of Sciences, claiming that “political privilege” leads them to remain silent in the face of, as he said, these historical misrepresentations and damage.
“I insisted, but constantly encountered opposition, because there are two or three of those reasons: the historians who run the Academy of Sciences in Albania and Kosovo today, institutionally speaking, are mostly ideologically minded,” he said.
They made books, made titles, some of them, unfortunately, entered the political services and were very well off materially and received official functions, according to this historian and writer.
“If something like this were accepted, many of his books would have to be devalued and many textbooks reworked,” Budzowi said.
Bujovi asked for a joint scientific position from the Kosovo and Albanian academies, where these issues would be resolved and the facts that, as he claims, history knows, would be accepted.
