Journalist Ratko Dmitović will be the new minister of the Serbian government, as “Blic” has learned. He will be nominated for this position by Aleksandar Šapić’s Serbian Patriotic Union, and the department he will take care of will be one of two new ones in Ana Brnabić’s cabinet, for the care of family, children and demographics.

Earlier today, the SPAS leader noted that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić acknowledged that his party could contribute to the challenges the new government will face, and that despite “asking for nothing”, Vučić offered him a ministerial position in the new Government of Serbia.

– The SNS did not need anyone else to form the Government, but obviously they recognized something in our country and we are at the disposal of all our staff – Šapić said.

He then explained his argument why he agreed that there was a concentration government at the time.

– I did not make the decision, but I support it because I think it is logical. When you have such an unstable situation globally, it will not be easy for all world leaders in the future. Then it is normal to make unity – Šapić said.

The citizens of Serbia will receive the answer to the question of who will be the new ministers on Sunday, after the SNS Presidency session, when the full list of names should be published.

Ratko Dmitrović is a well-known Serbian journalist and publicist. He was a permanent correspondent in Zagreb for the daily Politika and the weekly NIN, editor of the weekly “Argument”, founder of the television “RAS” and worked at RTS. For several years, he served as CEO and editor-in-chief of “Novosti”. He published the book “Cross on the Cross” and the novel “Professor Mišković’s Notebook”, according to which the series is being filmed.

For a time, he was an advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Nebojsa Covic in the Serbian Government, headed by Zoran Djindjic, and was elected a member of the Serbian National Assembly in the June elections from the Serbian Patriotic Union list, as a nonpartisan person. .
