Rapper Stefan Đurić Rasta admitted that he kept the drugs found in October for personal use and concluded a plea deal on the basis of which an agreement was reached to sentence him to one year of house arrest.
As Kurir learns, the court is expected to adopt this settlement soon and release Rast from custody, which he has been in since October 2020.
First accusation
– Stefan Đurić reached an agreement with the Belgrade High Prosecutor’s Office, which conducted an investigation against him and Luka B. for drug trafficking. However, as there was insufficient evidence that he kept the medicine for resale and he admitted that he was keeping it for his own use, a plea deal was entered into, on the basis of which it was agreed that he would be sentenced to one year in prison. house arrest – explains a source in Kurir.
According to him, the case is now in the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office, which, according to unofficial information, will accept the agreement already signed with the rapper.
– Once the agreement was concluded, the case was submitted to the judge for prior processing by the Superior Court, who had to decide whether to confirm it, but declared himself incompetent for that crime and submitted the case to the First Base Court – the interlocutor explains.
Put the book behind bars
Stefan Đurić Rasta has been detained since 3 October last year, when he was arrested in Belgrade. – He spent time detained in a group cell, and without wasting time behind bars, perhaps the best evidence is the fact that he wrote a book behind bars during these three and a half months – says a source in Kurir.
The rapper and ex-husband of the singer Ana Nikolić, as Kurir wrote, was arrested in October and in the first hearing he said that he bought 600 grams of skunk to have strains due to the coronavirus, and also admitted that he hid the drugs in the washing machine.
– I am an artist and I have been using marijuana for a long time, and I am its promoter and I think it should be used as medicine. I have never had so much marijuana with me before, but they just gave me the opportunity to get this amount and due to the situation with the crown I wanted to make sure. I have never sold, or marijuana, or any other type of drug – supposedly said Rasta at the time.
Use 20 joints a day
During the arrest, the police found drugs in her underwear and marijuana was also found in her bathroom in the washing machine. – I have about 700-800 grams. I did not give it to anyone to use – he said, but for security reasons he did not want to reveal when he bought the drug, which, he said, paid around 2,000 euros. Then he discovered that he uses about 20 grams a day in 20 joints. Luka B., who was arrested with Rasta, as we learn, accepted a year in prison.
