“There are no two figures on the Serbian political scene, like Dritan Abazović and Aleksa Bečić. They are young people who people trust a lot for now and who, like Zdravko Krivokapić, expect a lot in the future. . Much good, “says Danas Đuro Radosavović, writer and columnist, author of the books” Budva, bagra i blud “and” Crnogorski roman “.

He said this in response to the question of whether the changes in Montenegro suggest a similar development in the surrounding area.

* Are the results of the elections in Montenegro surprising given the inertia of the long absence of political change?

– They are a surprise because the invincible Milo was defeated with a pencil. Many claimed that “whatever comes down the street moves,” but it is fortunate that Montenegro, although seen as a group of temperamental and explosive people, was able to democratically change the government. The results of the elections are not surprising because the discontent of the people was felt in the air, the word “people” is of course in the plural. Despite all the mechanisms of the ruling party, the opposition now has a majority, and it is better not to think about what the result would be if there were no such mechanisms.

* Do you still see, judging by various statements by political actors, the uncertain “opposition” government that announces tectonic changes in Montenegrin society and the development of the country?

– After thirty years of changing the direction of Vodovod, it is a shock and of course it will be a shock for everyone if Milo leaves. The roots of endemic corruption are tremendously strong and deep. But what would Dusko Radovic say? “If we can and must do without Tito, we can do without many others.” If these new ones don’t listen to the people, they will leave power more easily than Milo. I’m sure of that.

* How do you see the interpretation that the Church “destroyed” Milo Đukanović?

– The church contributed. Milo shot himself in the knee before the election race because he thought he was omnipotent, and it turned out that from a once sharp razor he had become a blunt razor. Mila was shot down by all the disappointed people. Voters. Everything else is a hoax and manipulation, like a minister’s declaration that if Milo loses instead of the euro, the dinar will be introduced. People simply reacted to such nonsense by voting for the opposition.

* Could the expected changes in Montenegro be an indication of some “refreshment” in neighboring countries, especially in Serbia?

– Hard. This is not a domino effect. The SPS is down, the HDZ is down, and this is Montenegro that is late but is still reaching its goal. If we make a comparison, there are no two figures on the Serbian political scene, like Dritan Abazović and Aleksa Bečić. These are young people who people trust a lot for now and who, like Zdravko Krivokapić, expect a lot in the future. Very good.
