The mayor of Belgrade, Zoran Radojicic, assessed the number of deaths from kovid as a complete catastrophe, stating that everyone is shocked and scared every day, even though the epidemic has dragged on for eight months.

“The fact is that the numbers are growing and they are terrible all over the world, even in Serbia,” Radojicic told TV Pink.

When it comes to city transportation, the mayor said a way was sought to have as few passengers as possible on public transportation, so that as few people as possible were in danger.

“According to the agreement, the maximum number of vehicles will be on the streets, the control will check if the measures are respected, and in that way we will reduce the crowds,” said Radojicic.

He added that around 2,500 GSP drivers are in Belgrade and only 50 patients have been registered so far.

As for the schools, the mayor says that they are an example of good behavior and that a school year was saved.

According to Radojicic, there is data that children get sick less frequently and that their clinical pictures are easier, so this is good news.

“So far 51 children in preschool institutions and 389 people who work with them have been sickened. With the holidays extended, I think we are going to have another ‘hiatus’ in the fight against coronavirus, ”said Radojicic.
