Radnički’s footballer from Niš is among five infected with the crown

The first five patients with the corona virus were admitted to the temporary hospital in the Nis “Chair” ward, Goran Mitrović, the deputy director of that hospital and deputy director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic, told the Beta agency today.

“Last night we received a patient who was in rehabilitation at the Institute in Niška Banja, and today three more patients from that institution. Meanwhile, a young man from Kikinda who plays football at Radnički in Niš was placed in ‘Silla'” Mitrović said.

He stated that all patients have a milder clinical picture, but that they must be in a temporary hospital, considering that they are positive and can transmit the infection.

“Patients from Nis with a milder clinical picture go home in self-isolation, and those outside of Nis, who are here, have to go to the presidency,” Mitrović said.

Currently, 195 patients are being treated in the Kovid hospitals of the Nis Clinical Center, and 11 of them are in serious condition and are connected to a ventilator. In the last 24 hours, four patients with confirmed coronavirus died at the Clinical Center.
