“The situation is such that it warns us very seriously that if we do not implement the measures, there is a constant threat of an increase in the number of patients,” Dr. Jankovi told TV Pink.
When asked if there is anyone else in Serbia besides Belgrade, where there are more newcomers and where the situation is currently more unfavorable, he said that fortunately he is not there for now, but that it can happen where we allow it.
“We have to be careful and consider the situation as such that we are all at risk and not infect ourselves and transmit it to others. Only then can we reduce the potential for the spread of the disease,” Jankovi said.
He cautioned that any larger gathering also has a potentially higher risk of transmitting the virus.
He explained that the risk of making money outdoors is significantly lower than indoors, but that when there are larger gatherings, that is, when there are more people and without sufficient physical distance and masks, the risk certainly increases.
Asked if Crisis Tab is considering reintroducing previous measures like the ace of the police, he said that this is not being considered at this time and that the emphasis is not so much on how to implement and strictly adhere to measures already taken.
