Half of the current SNS ministers will probably have to say goodbye to their jobs in Nemanjina 11.
That is, only five of the ten current ministers in the ranks of the SNS have the opportunity to remain in the future government.
Drastic change
– This will be a real example of the big changes that have been announced. There are currently ten SNS ministers in the Government and, judging by the plans of the party leadership, half of them will be replaced. The plan is to entrust the departments to new people who are more savvy and less political. Among those likely to have no place in the new government are Sports Minister Vanja Udovicic, Labor, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs Minister Zoran Djordjevic, European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic and Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic, who for health reasons does not continue his mandate … In addition, the Ministry of Justice will probably no longer be headed by Nela Kuburović, who is on maternity leave – says our source.
Of the other five progressives at the top of the executive branch, our source adds, only two are sure: Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimović and Finance Minister Siniša Mali.
– For the remaining three, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Construction and Transport Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar, a final decision has not yet been made, but the chances of them remaining in government are greater.
All this will be discussed in the session of the Presidency of the SNS, which is not yet scheduled at this time, but is expected to be today or tomorrow afternoon – says our interlocutor.

Neither the education ministers Mladen Šarčević nor the culture minister Vladan Vukosavljević, who are not formal members of the SNS, but are appointed on behalf of the ruling party, have a secure position, especially Vukosavljević, who was reported in the media that he resigned and would be replaced by Maja Gojković.

Experience and refreshment
Vladimir Pejić, director of the public opinion research agency “Factor Plus”, tells Kurir that he hopes this government will be a combination of a policy of continuity and refreshment with news.
– It seems logical to me that around 50 percent of the former ministers of the SNS stay and 50 percent leave. It was this scenario that I predicted following events. Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS want to maintain the continuity of work and continue with the policy they were pursuing, so it is logical that a part of the ministers remains. If they all changed, it would mean that the government did not function well or that the policy changed drastically, and that is not the case either, says Pejić.

Knowing there will be big changes in the government, Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimović said briefly: “And it should be.” Transport and Construction Minister Zorana Mihajlović says: – I am looking forward to forming a new government. Each new government should be better than the previous one.
Assembly this week
New leadership is being elected
The first session after the constitution of the National Assembly on August 3 must be on Thursday, and the president, vice-presidents and the secretary of parliament must be elected there. Also on the agenda would be, probably on Friday, a government law and ministries, as well as a vote on the proposals to form two new ministries: the Ministry of Human Rights, Gender Equality and Social Dialogue and the Ministry of Family, Children and demography. It remains uncertain whether a government composition proposal will be proposed on Friday or perhaps even Monday. Let us remind you, Vladimir Orlić, an SNS deputy, stood out as the favorite for the Speaker of Parliament.
